The Founders

Meet Mo & Charley

We didn't start in property management. We started as landlords — frustrated, underserved landlords who knew there had to be a better way.

With nearly 20 years of combined landlord experience, we'd seen it all: agents who lost keys, ignored tenants, missed compliance deadlines, and charged for services they never delivered.

Mo's background as a medical doctor brings analytical rigour, attention to detail, and a commitment to getting things right the first time. Charley's operational experience at Aldi, Costa, and Amazon means our systems are built for consistency, scale, and zero dropped balls.

Together, we built Mocha Property to deliver the proactive, personal service we always wanted but could never find — from people who actually understand what it means to have money tied up in bricks and mortar.

How We Got Here

2006+

Mo and Charley begin their landlord journeys independently — buying, renovating, and letting properties across Liverpool and the Northwest. Nearly two decades of hands-on experience shapes their view of what good management looks like.

The Problem

After years of dealing with agents who missed compliance deadlines, failed to fill voids quickly, and treated properties as numbers on a spreadsheet — they realise the industry needs a fundamentally different approach.

Mocha Founded

Mocha Property Management is born — combining Mo's medical precision with Charley's operational systems expertise. The goal: proactive, personal management with transparent pricing and industry-beating results.
